Kevin Jernegan joined Landis
& Arn in
September 2006 after moving to Maine from Washington, DC. He holds
Bachelors degrees in International Affairs and Biology from the
University of Washington in Seattle and a Masters degree in
International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington,
DC. Kevin has worked in the immigration field for over ten years, as a
paralegal with private immigration law firms, an advisor on immigration
with George Washington University; as well as an advisor with the
Office of Refugee Programs of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Kevin has also held a variety of public policy research and analysis
positions, most recently with the Migration Policy Institute in
Washington, DC. He has published extensively on immigration topics and
made numerous media appearances, including the Jim Lehrer News Hour. As
a paralegal working with Peter Landis, he works primarily on
employment-based immigration matters.
